Personal Projects

Personal Projects Overview

This section showcases my personal projects and independent learning initiatives. These projects demonstrate my passion for continuous learning, self-directed skill development, and pursuit of knowledge and experience.

Each project reflects my commitment to deepening my understanding of semiconductor design, integrated circuits, and electrical engineering fundamentals through skill development and self-study.

Circuit Design and Simulation

In this project I am transitioning from the theoretical knowledge found in the textbooks I am reading to the practical application of it, through circuit design and simulation using LTSpice, and layout design using KLayout.

Overview

The purpose of this project is to build and develop skills that will aid me in transitioning from a student to a professional in the field of semiconductor design. I will be utilizing the end of chapter questions in Analog Integrated Circuit Design by Tony C. Carusone, David A. Johns and Kenneth W. Martin as a source of practice problems to solve. The goal is to work through each problem, then to simulate the designed circuit in LTSpice, and finally create a layout for the circuit in KLayout. This is an ongoing project.

Outcomes and Learning

The outcome of this project will be a greatere understanding of both circuit analysis and design, as well as practical experience using industry standard tools for circuit simulation and layout design.
